Farnham Coaches safety features

Modern Coaches - over 90% of our coaches have been registered in the last ten years and we invest in new vehicles on an annual basis. Virtually all are air-conditioned, double glazed and have a PA/CD/radio system.

Maintenance - all coaches are maintained in line with current legislation. They are tested by the vehicle inspectorate once a year (our first time pass rate is second to none) and are also checked mechanically at least every 6 weeks in accordance with the best industry standards. On top of all that the driver is required to carry out a list of checks on the coach at the beginning of each working day to ensure that the vehicle meets our exacting standards and those of the regulatory authorities.

Speed Limiters - all coaches are restricted to a maximum of 100kph (approx. 60mph) for the safety of passengers.

Seatbelts - fitted to every passenger seat on every one of our vehicles and are certified as being properly fitted to industry standards.

Communication - all drivers are provided with hands-free mobile phones.
